[ARCHIVED] East Lansing Farmers Market’s Autumn Fest to Take Place Sunday, Oct. 17

EAST LANSING, Mich. — Community members are invited to celebrate the splendor of fall at the annual Autumn Fest event at the East Lansing Farmers Market (ELFM) on Sunday, Oct. 17 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in Valley Court Park, 280 Valley Court.

This year’s Autumn Fest will feature an assortment of seasonal Michigan produce and products, pumpkin painting, rock painting, fall-themed games and free treats (while supplies last). Community members will also have the opportunity to visit the East Lansing Public Library’s mobile pop-up library and browse its collection during the event.

Additionally, there will be a live performance by Amazing Clark Entertainment, titled “The Ghosts and Goodies Show,” at 11 a.m. and live music performances by Morning Glory from 10 a.m.-noon and The Dangling Participles from noon-2 p.m. View a map of the activities (PDF).
 
Volunteers Needed
The ELFM is in need of volunteers to help out with the Autumn Fest event. Community members interested in volunteering can sign up at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0c4ca9af2fa6f4c43-autumn. All volunteers will receive a special fall treat!

About the ELFM
The ELFM is a growers-only market located in an inviting park setting just steps away from the Michigan State University campus and downtown East Lansing. Customers can fill their shopping bags with farm-grown Michigan produce and products, including fresh fruits and vegetables, artisan bread, meats, cheese, flowers, honey, maple syrup and much more.
