EAST LANSING, Mich. – City of East Lansing offices will be closed Friday, July 3 in observance of Independence Day.
Closures on July 3 will include East Lansing City Hall, the East Lansing Department of Public Works, the East Lansing 54-B District Court, the East Lansing Public Library (ELPL), the East Lansing Hannah Community Center (ELHCC), East Lansing Prime Time and the childcare program at the Bailey Community Center. ELHCC and ELPL will also be closed Saturday, July 4 and Sunday, July 5.
Refuse and recycling that is normally collected on Friday will be collected on Monday, July 6. There will be no bulk item or yard waste collection on Monday, July 6.
The East Lansing Family Aquatic Center (ELFAC), 6400 Abbot Road, will be open this weekend, weather permitting. Learn more at www.cityofeastlansing.com/AquaticCenter.
