EAST LANSING, Mich. — Community members are invited to attend the City of East Lansing’s free Children’s Cultural Concert Series at the East Lansing Hannah Community Center, 819 Abbot Road this February and March.

Saturday, Feb. 18 – Gincy®, It’s Cool to be Kind
Nationally acclaimed recording artist, Gincy®, sings original songs with meaningful and inspiring lyrics about kindness, respect, believing in yourself and working together to help make the community the best it can be. Saturday, Feb. 25 – Kefentse Chike, African Drumming
Kefentse Chike has studied, taught and performed African drum music and presentation for 40 years. He has studied with master musicians from Africa, the African diaspora and throughout the United States. Saturday, March 4 – Joe Reilly, Let’s Be Inclusive
Joe Reilly’s program is comprised of original songs with the goal of motivating children to celebrate diversity and encourage empathy. Reilly's warm personality and playful singing style helps add to the joyful and positive tone of his performances. https://www.joereilly.org/
Prior to the March 4 concert, community members are invited to attend a special story time, hosted by the East Lansing Public Library, at 10 a.m. at the East Lansing Hannah Community Center. This program is also free.
