EAST LANSING, Mich. — Community members are advised that counseling services will continue to be offered the week of Feb. 27 at the East Lansing Hannah Community Center (ELHCC) and East Lansing Public Library (ELPL).
These services are available to anyone in the community in need of crisis support following the tragic events that took place on Michigan State University’s (MSU) campus on the evening of Feb. 13, including MSU students, faculty and staff and all other community members.
East Lansing Hannah Community Center, 819 Abbot Road MSU has arranged for counselors from the American Red Cross to offer crisis support services to the community at ELHCC next week. There will also be therapy dogs available. The schedule is as follows:
On Wednesday, March 1, students can receive one-on-one teletherapy with Uwill and students, faculty, families and community members can access mental health care options through ThrivingCampus. East Lansing Public Library, 950 Abbot Road Counselors from the Community Mental Health Authority of Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham Counties will be returning to ELPL to continue to offer crisis support services to the community next week. There will also be therapy dogs available intermittently. The schedule is as follows:
Monday - Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
