The results of East Lansing’s November 7, 2023 General Election have been certified by the Ingham County Board of Canvassers and the administration of the oath of office for the newly elected East Lansing City Councilmembers is scheduled to take place tonight.
East Lansing Interim City Clerk Marie Wicks will administer the oath of office to the City Councilmembers-elect at the beginning of Council’s regular meeting at 7 p.m. tonight (Tuesday, Nov. 14) at the East Lansing Hannah Community Center, 819 Abbot Road. The City Councilmembers-elect are Erik Altmann, Kerry Ebersole Singh and Mark Meadows.
The East Lansing City Council will then elect the Mayor and Mayor Pro Tem and the oath of office will be administered for those leadership positions.
Following the oath of office, the meeting will continue with regular agenda items.
