EAST LANSING, Mich. — Community members are invited to visit downtown East Lansing to view the latest rotating art display, featuring images in collaboration with REACH Studio Art Center, a campus of seven studios located in the REO Town district of Lansing, Michigan, or around town through the REACH Art Truck program.

“The artists of REACH Studio Art Center are excited to be featured in the Rotating Art Display Program sponsored by East Lansing’s Downtown Development Authority. We know that Creative Placemaking plays a critical role in connecting arts and culture to the community,” REACH Studio Art Center incoming Executive Director Melissa Keeley said. “REACH Studio Art Center’s mission is to provide equitable access to arts programming, and we do this by providing free and reduced-fee classes in a variety of mediums and disciplines. REACH’s commitment to offering creative opportunities for all ages and abilities is reflected in the artwork on display which represents work by students of various ages created during just a few of the classes we offer regularly at REACH. Registration for REACH’s winter term classes is now open through our website with scholarships available for qualifying families!”

The rotating art display was established by the City’s Downtown Development Authority in 2021 as an open-air public space. It includes four double-sided exhibit panels, each measuring 4’x6’, along the 400 block of Albert Avenue on the northside of the Division Street Parking Garage.
