EAST LANSING, Mich. — Chief Judge Molly Hennessey Greenwalt of the 54-B District Court in East Lansing has announced that the court will be closed to the public on Thursday, Feb. 8. The court will be participating in a staff training.
Court offices will NOT be open for walk-in arraignments or payments. All in-custody arraignments and emergency matters (including emergency filings) will be conducted while the court’s business offices are closed to the public.
Drop boxes are available at the East Lansing Police Desk, 409 Park Lane and in the north parking lot of City Hall, 410 Abbot Road, for filings and payments. Payments can also be made online at www.54bdistrictcourt.com.
The Court will resume normal operations on Friday, Feb. 9.
Monday - Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
