[ARCHIVED] City Offices Closed Monday, Sept. 7 in Observation of Labor Day

EAST LANSING, Mich. – City of East Lansing offices will be closed Monday, Sept. 7 in observation of Labor Day.

The following offices/buildings will be closed: East Lansing City Hall, the East Lansing 54-B District Court, the East Lansing Public Library (ELPL), the East Lansing Hannah Community Center (ELHCC), East Lansing Prime Time and the East Lansing Department of Public Works. There will be no bulk item or yard waste collection on Monday, Sept. 7.

In addition to being closed Monday, ELPL will also be closed Sunday, Sept. 6 and ELHCC will also be closed Saturday, Sept. 5 and Sunday, Sept. 6.

East Lansing Aquatic Center Open this Weekend
Community members planning to stay in town this Labor Day weekend can enjoy the final days of the East Lansing Family Aquatic Center’s 2015 season. The Aquatic Center will be open, weather permitting, during the following days/hours:

-Saturday, Sept. 5; 11 a.m.-7 p.m.
-Sunday, Sept. 6; 11 a.m.-7 p.m.
-Monday, Sept. 7; 11 a.m.-5 p.m. (last day of the 2015 season)
