[ARCHIVED] City Offices Closed for Thanksgiving

EAST LANSING, Mich. – City of East Lansing offices and facilities will be closed Thursday, Nov. 27 and Friday, Nov. 28 in observance of Thanksgiving.

Closures will include East Lansing City Hall, the East Lansing 54B District Court, the East Lansing Public Library (ELPL), East Lansing Prime Time, the East Lansing Hannah Community Center (ELHCC), the Bailey Community Center and the East Lansing Department of Public Works.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

East Lansing Public LibraryELPL will close early at 6 p.m. today, Nov. 26. The library will re-open at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 29 and will be open for its regular Saturday and Sunday hours. The exterior book drop will be open and available for patrons to use.

The ELPL 2.0 Maker Studio in downtown East Lansing will be closed Nov. 26-27 and will re-open at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 29.

East Lansing Hannah Community CenterELHCC will be open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 29 and from noon-8 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 30.

Refuse & Recycling CollectionRefuse and recycling for both Thursday and Friday will be collected on Friday, Nov. 28.
