EAST LANSING, Mich. — The East Lansing Police Department (ELPD) is currently investigating a bank robbery that took place today, June 7 at approximately 2 p.m. at the PNC Bank located at 1561 W. Lake Lansing Road. View surveillance images of the bank robbery suspect and submit a tip via Nixle. An unknown male suspect entered the bank, walked up to a teller and demanded money. A gun was indicated, but not seen. The suspect is described as being approximately 5’ to 5’5” tall with short braids. He was wearing a grey hoodie and jeans at the time of the robbery.
The suspect exited the store and got into the passenger seat of a late 90’s or early 2000’s blue car; believed to be a Toyota. A short time after the robbery, ELPD detectives located a sum of money on Harrison Road, just north of Saginaw Street. The money is believed to be related to the robbery.
