EAST LANSING, Mich. — The City of East Lansing is currently seeking citizen volunteers to serve on a new Citizen Innovation and Technology Panel.
The East Lansing City Council has adopted a resolution to create a panel of citizens with interest, knowledge and experience in technology to help research, collaborate and share ideas with the City in order to provide improved services to the community.
The panel will serve in an advisory capacity, primarily focusing on technology that directly impacts the residents of East Lansing. Meetings will take place on a monthly basis, with the objective of commencing the first meeting in September.
Community members interested in serving on this panel are encouraged to submit an application by Friday, July 15 at 4 p.m. The application can be found on the City’s website at http://www.cityofeastlansing.com/DocumentCenter/View/5095.

Applicants should be residents of the City of East Lansing. Students attending MSU and living in East Lansing are welcome to apply. Applicants should expect to be interviewed by City staff members and a member of the East Lansing City Council prior to selection. All members will be appointed by East Lansing Mayor Mark Meadows, with approval from the East Lansing City Council.
