EAST LANSING, Mich. — East Lansing’s popular Play in the Park events will kick off this July in Valley Court Park, 280 Valley Court.
This interactive children’s entertainment series features family activities in a beautiful park setting at 7 p.m. on Tuesdays in July. Community members are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs. Here is the 2016 Play in the Park schedule:

Magic with Baffling Bill
Baffling Bill makes learning fun through dazzling magic, audience participation and non-stop laughter.
July 12
Storytelling with Karen Czarnik
Talkin' Tales, Tunes and Tappin' is a fun collection of stories and songs that help audiences play a part in the program.
July 19
Nature Discovery
Families can meet live animals - from snakes to birds - that can be found in local parks and learn how to seek out native plants and animals by looking and listening.
July 26
Sports Science
Families can discover the science behind sports and the benefits of being active with Dynamic School Assemblies.
