EAST LANSING, Mich. — Beginning Monday, Aug. 8, the City of East Lansing will be making sidewalk repairs on the Harrison Road bridge over the Red Cedar River. The work is expected to be completed by Friday, Aug. 19.
During various stages of this work, northbound or southbound Harrison Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction with traffic being shifted to the inside lane.
The sidewalk on one side of the bridge will remain open at all times and pedestrian traffic from the impacted side will be detoured to the opposite side of the bridge. Motorists are asked to watch for traffic shifts and to proceed with caution when traveling through this area.
