EAST LANSING, Mich. — Kelly Arndt, director of the East Lansing Prime Time Seniors’ Program, has been elected president of the Michigan Association of Senior Centers Board of Directors.
The association is comprised of 126 senior centers across the state of Michigan and is responsible for overseeing programs and services designed to promote the health and well-being of Michigan's rapidly growing population of older adults.
Arndt has served as director of the East Lansing Prime Time Seniors’ Program since 1992, instituting programs that not only have met the perceived needs of local citizens, but have increased membership and services. She has also served as secretary of the association, conference chair and liaison to the Michigan Legislature. Her term will extend to 2018.
