EAST LANSING, Mich. – Grant Anthony-Williams Perry, a 19-year-old from Royal Oak, was arraigned yesterday in the East Lansing 54B District Court in connection to a sexual assault case the East Lansing Police Department (ELPD) has been investigating since October.
Perry is accused of sexually assaulting (by touching) a female waiting in line outside of Lou & Harry’s in downtown East Lansing on Saturday, Oct. 15 at approximately 12:20 a.m. He tried to flee the area when police arrived and resisted arrest. He was under the influence of alcohol at the time.
Perry turned himself in yesterday and was charged with two counts Criminal Sexual Conduct (CSC) in the fourth degree, one count felony resisting and obstructing police and Minor in Possession (MIP). He was released on a personal recognizance bond.
