EAST LANSING, Mich. — East Lansing City Manager George Lahanas has announced that Jill Feldpausch will serve as the City of East Lansing’s new finance director effective immediately.
Feldpausch previously served as the City’s assistant finance director/treasurer from April 2008 to December 2016 and, prior to that, served as the City’s senior financial analyst from August 2006 to April 2008. Since January of this year, Feldpausch has been serving as the interim finance director following the retirement of the former director, Mary Haskell, in December 2016. Prior to working for the City of East Lansing, Feldpausch worked as an associate and manager in the Audit Department at Plante & Moran, PLLC from January 2001 to August 2006.
“During her almost 11 years of service to the City of East Lansing, Jill has proven to be a dedicated and highly skilled professional with broad fiscal knowledge and a commitment to public service,” said East Lansing City Manager George Lahanas. “We are confident that she will continue to lead with excellence in her new role.”
Feldpausch received her Bachelor of Arts in accounting from Michigan State University in 2000 and received her State of Michigan CPA license in 2004. She is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, the Michigan Government Finance Officers Association and the Michigan Municipal Treasurers Association.
