EAST LANSING, Mich. — Hamiltunes: An American Singalong is coming to the East Lansing Public Library (ELPL), 950 Abbot Road, this Sunday, Feb. 18 from 1:30-4:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
Hamiltunes is an officially licensed singalong set to the award-winning soundtrack of “Hamilton: An American Musical.” The fans in attendance will be invited to sing the songs to an instrumental version of the music and a small stage will be set up for guests to act out the musical. Costumes are encouraged (no swords or dueling pistols, please).
Hamiltunes: An American Singalong began in Los Angeles, Calif. and has since been hosted at a number of venues across the country for devoted fans. Although ELPL’s program is open to anyone, it should be noted that the lyrics of this Broadway show do contain profanity. Learn more.
