EAST LANSING, Mich. — The City of East Lansing is proud to support the Celebration of Diversity Festival, taking place on Monday, March 5 from 4-7 p.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church, 800 Abbot Road.
“This celebration will recognize our diverse Greater Lansing community, which is accepting of all identities and stands against the assertion of white supremacy,” said East Lansing City Councilmember Aaron Stephens. “Given the recent rise in visible white supremacy, several community groups have come together to host this special event.”
The Celebration of Diversity Festival will feature diverse food, music, speakers and performances. The event will offer a safe, inclusive environment with quiet spaces and off-site areas available for any who need it. This will be a family-friendly event that is open to all community members who are supportive of diversity and inclusion.
