EAST LANSING, Mich. — The East Lansing Prime Time Seniors’ Program will host its biennial rummage sale on Thursday, May 24 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. and Friday, May 25 from 9 a.m.-noon at the East Lansing Hannah Community Center (ELHCC), 819 Abbot Road. The sale is open to all community members.
On May 21-22, Prime Time will accept donations of linens, jewelry, antiques, collectibles, dishes, baby equipment, games, puzzles, craft supplies, DVDs, small pieces of furniture and tools. All donated items must be in good condition. Prime Time’s offices are located inside of ELHCC and items need to be dropped off during office hours, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Donation receipts will be available upon request.
Books, clothing, shoes, computers, printers, DVD and VCR equipment, encyclopedias, stereo equipment and speakers, typewriters, magazines, suitcases, golf clubs, ski equipment or large pieces of furniture will not be accepted.
Community members who are considering making a donation and have questions about whether or not the item will be accepted are encouraged to call Prime Time’s office at (517) 337-1113 ahead of time.
All proceeds of the sale will benefit the operating budget of the Prime Time Seniors’ Program – a nationally accredited program that serves to enrich the lives of community members who are age 55+.
