East Lansing, Michigan – The 2018 Summer Solstice Jazz Festival (SSJF) will bring local, regional and national jazz acts to the heart of downtown East Lansing for a two-day festival that is not to be missed. This year’s festival will take place this weekend, June 22-23, from 4-11 p.m. on Friday and 3-11 p.m. on Saturday.
Due to construction in downtown East Lansing, festival goers should note that the festival location has changed. The Founders’ Stage (main stage) will be located in the Bailey Parking Lot, 139 Bailey St., and the Education Stage will be located adjacent to the Albert-Division Street intersection.
Please take note of the following downtown street and lot closures for the festival:
- Albert Avenue, from Division Street to Charles Street, will be closed from 5 a.m. on Friday, June 22 to noon on Sunday, June 24. Both intersections at Division and Charles streets will remain open to thru traffic.
- The Bailey Parking Lot, 139 Bailey St., will be closed from 2 a.m. on Friday, June 22 to noon on Sunday, June 24.
