EAST LANSING, Mich. — The East Lansing Police Department (ELPD) will be hosting its second Open House for community members of all ages on Thursday, July 26 from 5-8 p.m. ELPD is located at 409 Park Lane.
Community members are invited to come meet the officers that help keep the East Lansing community safe and take a tour of the ELPD station and jail. The event will also feature the ELPD K9 Unit, an ELPD Police Chief Q&A, vehicle displays, drunk goggles, car seat inspections/installations, snacks and a dunk tank! Proceeds of the dunk tank will benefit Haven House of East Lansing and the City Rescue Mission of Lansing. Community members can purchase 2 balls for $1 or bring food/diaper donations (1 canned good = 1 ball and diapers = 10 balls) for the dunk tank.
The ELPD Open House is free and open to the public.
