EAST LANSING, Mich. — Motorists are advised that the Michigan Department of Transportation’s (MDOT) construction project on Saginaw Street is scheduled to recommence on Thursday, Sept. 13
Crews will be working from Thursday, Sept. 13 through Saturday, Sept. 15 to mill and resurface the highway, from Abbot Road to Hagadorn Road. While one lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction during this work, it is expected to cause significant traffic delays. Motorists are asked to drive with caution in the area and are encouraged to seek alternate routes if possible.
Following this work, street striping will take place throughout the entire project area, from Coolidge Road to Hagadorn Road, early next week.
