[ARCHIVED] ELPD Seeks Community’s Help in Locating Suspect(s) Responsible for Swastika Graffiti at Area School

EAST LANSING, Mich. – The East Lansing Police Department (ELPD) is seeking the community’s help in locating the suspect(s) responsible for swastika graffiti discovered today, Sept. 25 on an exterior wall at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish School.

ELPD was dispatched to the school at approximately 2 p.m. and it is believed that the graffiti was painted within the last 24 hours. The school and church have not received any other threatening communications aside from the graffiti.

While there have not been any direct threats at this time, ELPD officers will be paying special attention to the school grounds to ensure the safety of both students and staff.

ELPD encourages anyone with information related to this incident to contact the ELPD Detective Bureau at (517) 319-6884. This case remains an open investigation.
