EAST LANSING, Mich. — According to the National Weather Service, damaging wind gusts of more than 60 mph are possible this Sunday, Feb. 24.
These wind gusts could cause power outages, downed electrical wires, downed limbs/trees and dangerous driving conditions.
Community members are encouraged to secure loose items around their homes and, if possible, limit driving and stay indoors. Community members are also advised to stay 25 feet away from any downed power lines and to call their utility company to report downed power lines and/or outages.
