EAST LANSING, Mich. — On Tuesday, May 28, three traffic signals in downtown East Lansing will be temporarily turned off from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to accommodate electrical work related to the Park District redevelopment project.
The traffic signals at Grand River-Abbot Road, Grand River-Michigan and Abbot-Albert intersections will be turned off for the work. During this time, motorist should treat the intersections as four-way stops. Flaggers will also be on site to move motorist through the intersections as necessary.
Additionally, the northbound lanes of Abbot Road on MSU’s campus will be closed and traffic will be detoured via West Circle Drive to Beal Street.
