EAST LANSING, Mich. — The City of East Lansing has received several reports today, Aug. 5 of fliers being left attached to residents’ mailboxes regarding reflective curb painting services.
The fliers have a header that reads “Public Service Notice” and they include a form that residents can fill out to have their address painted on their curb.
Community members are advised that the City of East Lansing is not affiliated with this company/service and that this company has not received a permit through the East Lansing Department of Public Works to provide this service in the public right-of-way. With that in mind, it is advised that community members refrain from doing business with companies that are not properly permitted to do this work.
