EAST LANSING, Mich. — Community members are advised that southbound Abbot Road, in front of the Abbott Pointe Apartments, 204 E. Pointe Lane, will be reduced to one lane beginning Monday, Sept. 16.
The lane closure will accommodate the removal and replacement of the sidewalk and driveway at the Abbott Pointe Apartments. During this work, the sidewalk adjacent to the apartments will also be closed and a pedestrian detour will be in place.
The lane and sidewalk closure will be in place daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., with work expected to be completed by the end of the week. Motorists should be prepared for traffic shifts and use caution when driving through the area.
