EAST LANSING, Mich. — The East Lansing High School (ELHS) Homecoming Parade will take place on Friday, Oct. 4, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Motorists are advised that there will be temporary road closures along the parade route. Streets will be closed at 5:20 p.m. and will re-open to traffic by approximately 6:30 p.m. The parade will begin at ELHS and go from Burcham Drive to M.A.C. Avenue to Albert Avenue to Bailey Street and back to Burcham Drive and the high school. The East Lansing Police Department will be assisting with the street closures to ensure a safe school celebration. Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes during the temporary closures.
The parade will be followed by the Homecoming football game at ELHS. The ELHS Trojans and the Holt High School Rams will face off at 7 p.m. Go Trojans!
