The 2023 Great Pumpkin Walk will take place on Sunday, Oct. 29 from 1-4 p.m. Families can bring their costumed children to downtown East Lansing to trick-or-treat with more than 25 participating downtown businesses.
There will also be mini pumpkin decorating and live music by jazz musician Carlos Perez at Ann Street Plaza, located at the corner of Albert and M.A.C. avenues. Additionally, the East Lansing Public Library's Library on the Go mobile pop-up library will be downtown with fun crafts for families as well as books to explore.
For the 12th year, Wild Goose Inn at 512 Albert Ave. will also be transforming into the Land of Oz for trick-or-treaters from 2-4 p.m.

Safe Halloween is an annual event in which MSU Fraternity & Sorority Life hosts a street carnival with various Halloween activities for children to enjoy along M.A.C. Avenue, between Burcham Drive and Elizabeth Street. Learn more.
Trick-or-treating hours in East Lansing's neighborhoods are from 6-8 p.m. on Halloween night (Oct. 31) each year.
