East Lansing Department of Parks, Recreation & Arts Provides COVID-19 Updates
In light of the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, the East Lansing Department of Parks, Recreation & Arts has announced several upcoming virtual and continued offerings for community members as well as extended closures and suspensions of certain programming.

Opening Day of the East Lansing Farmers Market is Sunday, June 7
Community members are encouraged to mark their calendars for opening day of the East Lansing Farmers Market’s 2020 season, which will be taking place as originally scheduled on Sunday, June 7 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in Valley Court Park, 280 Valley Court. 

Summer Solstice Jazz Festival Advisory Board Cancels the 2020 Festival
City of East Lansing staff members and the Summer Solstice Jazz Festival Advisory Board have made the decision to cancel the 2020 SSJF due to the COVID-19 crisis.

East Lansing Temporarily Closes Playground Equipment, Some Park Amenities
To help prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), City of East Lansing officials are temporarily closing the City’s playground equipment and some park amenities until further notice.

Tri-County Regional Planning Commission Develops Online Parks and Trail Viewer
Community members looking to get outside and exercise can find several parks and trails in the area by viewing the Tri-County Planning Commission's online parks and trail viewer. When using the parks and trails, community members are encouraged to practice safe social distancing and stay at least six feet away from others.
